My PhD dissertation engaged the intertextual matrix of Federico Fellini's cinematic texts, focusing on the network of quotations from art history. The thesis was awarded the Allan Bronfman Prize for 2009. I teach at the Hebrew University School of the Arts, and am currently completing a book on the role of painting in Fellini's cinematic work (working title: Federico Fellini: Painting In Film, Painting On Film). My current research interests are experimental film and all aspects of the cinema-painting interface. I also engage the interface between film and visual art in the digital age, and the place and function of painting therein.
