The Department of Comparative Literature offers courses examining the masterpieces of world literature through a comparative approach, as well as courses in literary and cultural theory and seminars focused on the relations between literature and the arts. The Department is a vibrant and supportive academic environment and its faculty includes world-renowned scholars who teach literature, music, theater and cinema studies.
